“Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done” — A Prayer That Changes Everything
This one line is the hinge of the Lord's Prayer. It moves prayer from asking God to bless our plans, to asking God to establish His.
Praying God's agenda before your own
Notice the order Jesus gives: the Father's name, the Father's Kingdom, the Father's will — and only then daily bread. Kingdom people learn to seek first, and to trust that everything else follows.
This is not a denial of need. It is a reordering of desire.
“On earth as it is in Heaven” is a measuring line
Whatever is not permitted in Heaven — sickness, fear, injustice, bondage — is what we are praying against. Whatever fills Heaven — righteousness, peace, joy — is what we are praying into our streets and homes.
That gives prayer a target. You are not guessing at God's will; you are echoing it.
From prayer to partnership
Prayer that lines up with Heaven produces people who act like Heaven. The prayer moves from your lips to your hands.
Kingdom Purpose on Earth was written to carry a reader from that prayer into that life.
